I have been working on this world for nearly 30 years, finishing the first novel in the world right after high school. While I locked that one up, the setting has brewed in my mind for decades. Words have materialized over that time, beginnings to different entry points to the world, short stories, refined series bibles, but in 2021 I began to serialize the Paladin Saga on Kindle Vella, and this got everything moving again. When KV ended, I took my stories and decided to refine them into long form. I am happy to say that Dance of the Flamelords is currently (April 2026) 75% complete. Along the way Of Wings and Faith was born, and I ended up writing to series in the same world at the same time. Of Sailors and Dragons is about 50% complete, and I anticipate finishing it this summer.
